On June 1, the fiery pits of Hell will rejoice—Diablo Immortal turns three! This milestone could not have been achieved without your continuous support, and to honor you, we have a bloody wave of new additions hitting the shores of Sanctuary.
As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on May 27, from 5 p.m.–7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on May 28, from 1 a.m.–3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live—specific dates for any features going live afterward are provided below.

“By three, they come,” so it is said. With three years’ worth of slain demons, denizens saved, and friends made along the way, we welcome you to Diablo Immortal’s third anniversary! This celebration of all things Hell offers a smattering of activities suited for every adventurer. Glean some of the festivities to come below. The rest are detailed throughout this article.

What better way to celebrate our three-year anniversary than with a new Legendary Gem, coated in crimson and foretold to be introduced in our next major update. From June 19– July 2, you can claim a Quality 2, 5-Star Blood Floe Legendary Gem as a gift from Battle.net.
To obtain this Legendary Gem you must be Level 30 or above and link your Diablo Immortal and Battle.net accounts. For more information on how to link your accounts, visit here. Only one gift may be claimed per account.
The Butcher, Baal, Skarn, and Diablo have declared you their greatest threat—you’re wanted, dead or dead. May your soul be prepared to overcome the trial of true evils. It must, for Sanctuary’s sake.
Fight your way through Diablo Immortal’s history by facing off against adversaries from the pantheon of doom. During the event, a new boss may be challenged every few days, and towards the end of the event, you can take on these baddies back-to-back.
Don’t worry, this is a fair fight—the bosses will scale to your power, providing anyone Level 30 and above the chance to challenge this fearsome foursome from June 1, 3 a.m.–June 19, 3 a.m. server time, if you dare. . .
It wouldn’t be a proper anniversary celebration without party favors! Upon logging in during the event, you’ll receive a themed Avatar Frame, and if you have what it takes to go head-to-head against wickedness in the Trials of True Evil event, you’ll earn the following rewards: Butchie Familiar Transmog (remember to feed him fresh meat often), Legendary Crests, random Set items, random Legendary items, and more.
The cruel generals of the Burning Hells have yet another infernal trial in store for you. From June 4, 3 a.m.–July 2, 3 a.m. server time, you can thin out throngs of demons across limited-time events to receive points. Gather enough points by being the fiercest demon slayer in Sanctuary and rewards such as Telluric Pearls, Legendary items, 1-Star Legendary Gems, and more shall be yours. Keep your wits about you—their demonic trickery may be alluring, but hold steadfast, adventurer!
Points can be earned from participating in the following limited-time events while Infernal Trials is active: Survivor’s Bane, Trial of the Hordes, Fractured Plane, and Wild Brawl.
A way to convert your surplus Set Items into an amplified version of themselves has arrived! From June 1, 3 a.m.–June 19, 3 a.m. server time, you can reforge three of the same Set Item into one version of that item with up to three Attributes and three Affixes. You can begin this endeavor by visiting the Threefold Rebirth menu.
Prepare yourself for the next chapter in Diablo Immortal’s story by participating in the Prince’s Trail event from June 12, 3 a.m.–June 23, 3 a.m. server time. Log in on the second, fourth, and eighth days of the event to earn rewards, such as a Telluric Pearl, Legendary Crest, and Rare Crests. You’ll also receive a 100% bonus to experience gained from Battle Pass levels during the event’s run.
You must be at least Level 30 or above to experience the Prince’s Trial.
From June 1, 3 a.m.–June 19, 3 a.m. server time, if you use 30 Eternal Legendary Crests or Legendary Crests in a row, and haven't received a 5-Star Legendary Gem, you will gain a bonus to your drop rates starting with the 31st Legendary Crest. The drop rate will be increased by 1.125% on your 31st attempt and will increase cumulatively for each subsequent attempt. Should you reach your 41st attempt, the drop rate will then be increased by 2.25% per attempt. Your 50th attempt drop rate is guaranteed.
Let your spirit be a mold for arcane secrets, and allow your body to melt under the grasp of forbidden knowledge. Battle Pass 40 leaves the mystic library and steps into the limelight on June 7, 3 a.m. server time, consisting of 40 ranks worth of rewards, such as Crests, Hilts, Legendary Gems, and more.
Begin slaying demons and climbing your way through the ranks before this taboo knowledge disappears on July 3, 2:59 a.m. server time.
Wear the skin of a sacred beast, and you may not earn its protection. But you surely will redirect its hunger to others. Protect Sanctuary with the Sublime Lineage of Beasts Cosmetic Set, which can be acquired from the in-game shop for 4,500 Eternal Orbs.
Fallow Field (Whirlwind): You are now immune to knockback while channeling Whirlwind. The amount of Life consumed per second increased from 2% to 3%.
Ox's Horns (Whirlwind): The Bleed effect can now be stacked up to 3 times, dealing up to twice the damage.
Five Fresh Claws (Whirlwind): Armor shatter effect stacks increased from 5 to 15 (up to 30% increased damage), but allied players can no longer benefit from the effect.
Agony's Specter (Escape): If Escape is used while being affected by knockback, Primary Attack Speed and Damage will be increased by 50%.
Count of the Eves (Whirling Strike): Previously damage reduction was 4% per enemy hit, stacking up to 6 times (24% maximum). Now the damage reduction is frontloaded, with the initial stack providing 9%, and the remaining 5 stacks providing 3% each (still 24% maximum).
Vow of Trickery (Whirling Strike): You now gain knockback and loss of control immunity for 1.5 seconds after successfully blocking a projectile with Whirling Strike.
Transfusion (Base Skill): If Transfusion is applied to an ally while they are affected by knockback, the shield you both receive will also make you immune to knockback for its duration.
Tranquil Palm (Exploding Palm): Cooldown increased from 6 to 8 seconds. Damage increased by 33%.

We’re adding more rewards to the Standard Battle Pass, Premium Battle Pass, and Battle Archive Shop. Here’s a glance at some of the additions:
Standard Battle Pass: At Rank 40, you can now choose between a 2-Star Legendary Gem Selection Chest and a Telluric Pearl.
Premium Battle Pass: 2-Star Legendary Gem Selection Chests, Normal Gems, and Gem Fragments, have been added.
Battle Archive Shop: You now have up to 4 instances of choosing between a 2-Star Legendary Gem Selection Chest or 2 Telluric Pearls.
The notification for having enough crafting materials to craft an item from Charsi can now be dismissed.
